As districts increasingly recognize the impact of stress, adversity, and trauma on students, schools must now consider how to implement these trauma-informed approaches within their unique contexts. This session will provide a brief framework for understanding trauma, and identify 8 trauma-informed practices that all educators can apply in their interactions with students and families.
